I absolutely love the connection between children and the ocean. Living in Florida, I see families from around the world come to here to enjoy our fantastic white sand beaches. The children run and play in the sand all day, while the mom's and dad's wait for them to get tired. There is nothing like the innocent wonderment of the child discovering the sand and waves and sharing their discovery excitedly with their parents. It is a life moment I strive to capture in my paintings.
I am surrounded all year long by vibrantly colored flowers. My favorite are the hibiscus flower which comes in every shade under the sun. I am also fascinated by the Spanish moss that hangs the heavy trees, especially when it glows with sunlight.
Many of my Still Life paintings include flowers, so you will find them here in addition to the Still Life section of this website.
